Before anyone try to replicate them and make an onlyfans product, please understand they had massive advantages:
1. A giant warchest
2. Contact info, connections and knowledge of which performers to migrate to the platform
3. Approval in both the apple app store (since removed) and google play store
The second point gave them the initial boost they needed. The latter point, helped them gain widespread adoption. I met some fairly non-tech-savvy pornstars, get onto the platform very easily via the app. There's very little difference between using the website and the app, but on mobile, it's like a lightswitch for the mobile generation.
Recall that Centro was doing it, but I never saw their app in the apple app store
