    Why is it everytime something news worthy happens EVERYONE opens a thread?

    Shouldn't one or two threads be enough?

    When the swine flu outbreak happened, this whole front page was filled with garbage about the swine flu.

    Now 50% of the threads on the front page are about Michael Jackson.

    Guess I just don't understand why everyone needs their own thread about it, one, two, or three should do it.
