if you owned a tgp would you try using TGP2 galleries?

i have begun changing over some of my TGP's and i see wild results.

I would think if alot of people got together and worked on the whole TGP2 concept, it may help out the industry alot since the free porn would be cut down and surfers would actually have to pay to see more.

Ok there will always be newbies (or whoever) that post TGP1 galleries because they think it will help them, and there will always be surfers that know where to find TGP1 galleries ...

Lets face it, if you have nothing but traded hits going to your site, it will be sometimes difficult to sell anything at all. Why not shoot some hits at a TGP2 style for a while and see how it works?

I have some SE pages of mine doing better with TGP2 galleries than they do with FPA or HPA ads! and yes i tried regular galleries as well.

well its just a thought, id like to see what other have to say about the idea.

The problem is (one of many) that TGP's wont trade with TGP2 sites. So by owning a TGP2 site you are limiting your trading capability.

If I remember correct it was given pretty damn much time.
It kinda felt like someone was trying to do CPR on a mannequin.

The amount of traffic you got was almost as the same as linklist traffic.
There's more linklist's than TGP2's = more traffic to your free site.
I get more signups from free sites than from TGP2 galleries.
I get more SE traffic to free sites than to my old TGP galleries.

I see no point in TGP2.

LL's i have found hard to work with, unless you have a good list to submit to .... and there are alot of places that most people keep quiet about.

its a simple supply and demand game.

the supply is too great for the demand, so it becomes diluted.

I have heard that this works best on TGPs that accept tgp2 galleries:
Link then up saying fast loading galleries. Some people with slower speeds prefer galleries with less pics.

Well I have to say that when TGP2 got off the ground I made great money with it and that was from galleries, upsells and custom graphics to other webmasters.

Some of my tgp2 galleries are quite popular to my suprise and I haven't made new ones in months.

The only problem I had with TGP2 was that after a year and a half I ran into several TGP2 webmasters that were basically rip offers and assholes.

There were fights and changes in the ranks and it wasn't worth it.

If they finally got their bickering over with I'ld try it again.

The rules are standardized between most sites.
You won't find the BS of the past.
The greedy ones that just wanted to line there pockets have gone and the core group that remains are dedicated to Tgp2.

Tgp2 is solid, it's a business model that works, and has been proven that it can convert up to 30 times better. And NO that not a typo, 30 times better is correct.

I remember your toons galleries, They were very good.

well ... we're not always a "purring litter of sleeping kittens", but we DO all try to work together to grow TGP2 and make a go of it. and i haven't seen anybody complain a gallery is off center ... might mention you could use a banner or two, or some more sales text maybe ...

TGP2 is a great idea and actually WORKS. Problem is that the nitpicking is hypocritical. It used to run smooth and convert like crazy. Then people's true colors came out and now it's being promoted like everything is a-okay.

No system is foolproof and to be fair these guys should just up and say so.

If it's improved, I'll check it out again. If I run into the same assholes from back then, you'll hear about it.

o.k. - it's not fool proof. nobody agrees all the time. people in TGP2 get pissed off at each other and some leave. but a majority of the people who stay involved work together.

how about this: head over to the message board. take a look around. you don't have to say anything. don't have to get involved if you don't want to. see what's changed. head over to the Gallery Pool. submit some galleries and see how they do. make your own decision ...

TGP2 WORKS for getting traffic to sponsor. Damn. I am amazed at how much traffic a few 'k' per day tgp2 page sends to sponsors. I am very impressed. Now I just got to work on cutting down on using so much content from the same sponsor as by going through all the tgp2 galleries they can pretty much get full sized gals out of it if they look carefully enough. All teaser or not, having 30 tgp2 gals from each sponsor isn't making them buy, but by the fuck, THEY ARE CLICKING ADS.. so maybe it's the tour not selling... I will work this, I will get more clicks out, I will MAKE it sell, the ability is there with tgp2 and a well designed site and galleries that are easy to read and navigate will make it happen. Mark my words.

Getting them to visit your sponsor's site is part of the sale. If they click a lot more, then even if you have the same signup ratio, you'll still end up with better conversions overall, on the traffic that went through your gallery.
