    At what point did distributing content as torrents become "time shifting" them?

    I'm not trying to get involved in the drama about right and wrong but what does downloading movies or anything else have to do with time shifting?

    Maybe someone can give me the definition as it is being used for this topic?

          It has nothing to do with time shifting.

          There has to be a broadcast that is recorded and that recording is a time shift.
          To then upload that recording is not time shifting since it's already time shifted
          and there is no broadcast.

          There will just be more idiots like this :

                  btw is for downloading not distributing
                  seeding is backup and that is a logical arguement not a legal one.
                  All though i expect it will be tested with the next 2 years. (made legal)
