    Is anyone producing porn for the CHINESE?

    Most of the Asian stuff tends to come from Japan or South Korea.

    I was thinking... Anyone producing stuff for the Chinese?

      Why produce something that could get them a prison sentence just for possessing it?

          Why should I care? I mean if the stuff can be made cheaply and it sells well... Then what business of mine would it be what happens after someone buys it?

                          South Korea has no legit porn industry. Just random amateurs secretly filming. Japan and Taiwan are the only places where porn (with some restrictions) is legal.

                                                      Porn within China is illegal to produce, distribute, and watch. However, watching is tolerated and pirated DVDs/blu rays, are mostly tolerated. A country with more men than women, would go crazy without porn.

                                                      Because XXX porn is illegal to produce in most asian countries, Chinese people outside china, rely on Japanese porn, as it is the most similar to themselves. And some softcore stuff produced in korea, hong kong, and taiwan.

                                                      There is nothing specifically made for the chinese audience, although chinese political topics - while known among chinese expats - are rarely discussed, so they would not make good themes for chinese porn.

                                                      The best way to make porn for chinese people, is to have chinese american pornstars (very rare), shooting with oriental actors and actresses, and make the UX of your site in Chinese.

                                                      If you are interested in selling your wares within china, you have to go underground and distribute DVDs in china.

                                                          Producing porn is easy. All you need is a big enough city and to create something that shocks or repulses the viewer so much that everyone talks about it. In fact today any monkey can do it.

                                                          The hard part is distribution... And avoiding copy cats... and avoiding thieves.
