Question about gfy rule regarding other boards...

So I just bought a very established surfer board and would love to put it in my signature here. Is this allowed? I don't want to just do it, then get banned. Mods? Thanks...

"1. No "spamming" of other ADULT Industry boards with the intent of stealing GFY members. Linking to another ADULT board in attempt to steal members from GFY will be grounds for immediate banning. This will be under the discretion of the moderators to determine "spamming." Abuse will not be tolerated."

I would think that classifies as 'stealing gfy members' if you're promoting it in your sig... even if it's not a webmaster board.
I mean, a large base of GFY are surfers, right?

The loose nature of the rule is to alllow that thread links be posted or links to other board related to a specific topic. By placing the link to your board in your sig what are you trying to accomplish? In my eyes you are trying to attract individuals to your board in an attempt to increase the traffic to your board. Therefore STEALING members away from GFY.

I do appreciate you asking first, but this would be against the rule.

Thats dumb.

It's not like webmasters going to stop posting here and start posting on a surfer forum.

freeones is a free site with a board attached to it.. question is do they link the board or just the site in their sig.. that would make it interesting
