Advice needed with my web site.

Hi guys.

I have decided to swallow my pride and ask for some advise on making money with my web site http://www.the-pornstar-list.com

It is hosted with Brazzers so I can only promote Brazzer sites, which I really don't mind as they have been my best sponsor in terms of convertions and support by far!!

I have redesigned the site numorous times now and have generated the amount of sign ups that I was hoping to.

My first approach was to list all the brazzer pornstars and then link them to their own page with a list of galleries and movies etc i.e. http://www.the-pornstar-list.com/por...la-stylez.html

After about 3 months of very low sign ups, I decided to scrap that idea and have just one page with all the pornstar names on which linked to the individual pornstar pages on the Brazzer Network site ie. http://enter.brazzersnetwork.com/tra...ornstar_id=520 , but again this produced nothing after about one month.

I have now set it up again but with large thumbnails for each pornstar linked to the brazzer individual pornstar page. Each of my pages having the different pornstars listed alphebetically ie pornstars-with-names-the-begin-with-a.html pornstars-with-names-the-begin-with-b.html etc etc

I would like to know what you guys would do with a site with a domain like mine. the site currently gets approx 3000-3500 unique hits a day, and steadily growing.

I'm thinking about giving it one last go before hanging up my porn hat for good.

Well, Brazzers is the one responsible for the conversions. What you need to be watching is your CTR through to the actual tours and SU pages. That's what all your tweaking is going to have an effect on. Also, I would be focusing on the engines. You have a ton of sweet keywords there. What % of your traffic is coming from search engines?

Get your own hosting so you can promote more than just brazzers and blow out the porn star listing to many more that brazzer doesn't/hasn't shot. Add in a TGP/MGP type page(s) to make the site more sticky.

And quit fucking with pages that were working for you.. You keep fucking with them and you'll loose any SE love you might have.. Conversions go up and down all the time and things have been rough for awhile now... Keep in mind also that you're promoting a sponsor that's all over the net and so can be overexposed.. by promoting others you'll help alleviate that.

I have managed to get the number 2 spot on Yahoo for "pornstar list" but finding it hard to get a top 500 spot on google.

What I really really want to do is make my index page look like the index page of http://www.bbc.co.uk and have different catagories such as movies, photo galleries, interviews, MILF/TEENS/ANAL/BIG TITS etc etc

But that would be rather time consuming.

All your se juice is going straight to brazzers.

For example I click Abbey Brooks, it loads the brazzers page. I copy this random segment of text: "in the past she has been known to enjoy a good "jugfuck" on niches sites such as jugfuckers"

At this very point google disregards your authority even though you led their bot there.

I search google for this long tail phrase: http://www.google.ca/search?rlz=1C1CHMG_enCA291CA308&sourceid=chrome&ie =UTF-8&q=in+the+past+she+has+been+known+to+enjoy+a+good +"jugfuck"+on+niches+sites+such+as+jugfuckers

Now you could be on that ^ google listing page but because you don't actually host the content on the domain you are using, it is seen that you provide no content. Only the people with copied descriptions are listed as you can see in the search result above.

hmmm...I think the general rule is that I have to have the content on MY PAGES. So I think that maybe I should go back to having something similar to what I started out with

Yes, you should absolutely have all the pornstar-name.html pages on your domain. And yeah you are branding the fuck out of brazzers, but if you are getting the se listings then it's still beneficial.

Yup! Get your own hosting and promote sites that convert not sites that will host for you. Over saturated sites/programs are a waste to promote unless they always sell well.

I have done a site in like 2003-2004 that was 100% promoting one ccbill sponsor and i was doing over 30 joins a week from that site that was barely getting 2k in traffic back then but that was back when the sponsor was growing and had 3 HOT new sites and 9 mos later my ratios went to shit cause the program had become saturated so i made the site to promote them and others that sold for me..

I just recently dropped a ccbill program that is at 0:10,500 for the year for me while i had 3-5 other ccbill sites/programs that were at 1:500 or under. So i pulled my links and sent more traffic to what sells and those sites are still under 1:700

Well, it's not a waste since he has already put so much time into it. Of course he should focus efforts on new projects with other sponsors, but it would be retarded to just dump all the juice he's already created with this site.
