    We may get an answer about the Phoenix Coyotes today

    But likely more delays.

    In any case, I truly hope another NHL does NOT situate itself in the southern Ontario area. My hope is that a new owner will keep the team in Phoenix.

    If any city should get a team it's Winnipeg or maybe even Quebec City once again. Or both of them.

      I don't really think wpg can support a NHL team, but I could be wrong.

                          I have to pay thru the nose to get tickets for the leafs and it's cost prohibitive to bring children to more than a couple of games per year. God forbid an original 6 team shows up in Toronto and the price goes up by double.

                          If Hamilton/Guelph/Kitchener gets a team I will be the first one in line to grab 4 seasons and I'm sure I'm not alone.

                          And yes this is coming from a big leafs fan

                                  It should happen. Hockey teams should be put in markets that can support them, not some random city that someone can point out on a map. Phoenix does not scream 'hockey town' to me...

                                  And who knows, maybe putting a team in Hamilton will force Toronto to actually win a few games and maybe make the playoffs once in a while.
