Wireless router that can handle HIGH speed internet?!

Upgraded my internet access today to 60mbps.

Now my router seems to have trouble keeping up.

What is a good wifi router that can handle this speed, AND is not to hard to install?

Edit: should be able to run 3-4 laptops/pc's at a time.

I've got the same one in the link above. Everything in the house from the attic to the basement can connect. My buddy about 600 feet up the street can connect to my network with no problem too.

definitely look for 802.11n one... But I doubt you'll be able to get the full internet speed through it anyway...

I dunno, i really suck with techs and specs.
The guy who installed it today tested it, and had a downloadspeed of 58mbps.

Don't be too sure. A DSL modem/router I purchased recently starts choking if you send too many packets per second via PPPoE... it just starts dropping them. Using the device as a modem (ethernet bridge) and shifting the PPPoE functionality to a FreeBSD box solved the problem.

Any wireless N router will be able to handle it. Obviously, wired devices won't have a problem

Trying to install one right now, going badly.

Seems to peak up and down like crazy, from going almost offline back to 38mpbs and back again.. sigh.

Soooo my ISP at my home we have full 100mbps.. and i download all the time saturating our 100Mbps to the house. And i've constantly uploaded at 70Mbps for about 3 weeks to a server at our datacenter.

Duno why people think isps wont give the bandwidth they offer.

Usin' a dlink wbr-2310 rangebooster G router here in the office - 108mbps

It'll reach a few hundred yards up the street easily with good signal.

I upgraded to fiber optic a couple months ago and I have had problems ever since with my older router handling the connection. For years I've had 4 pcs and a wireless connection with the router, now I can only get 3 pcs and the wireless to work. I thought it was my connection until I started reading that certain routers have difficulty with the fiber optic connection, sounds similar to what you may be experiencing.

Well anything over 20 Mbps you're going to need a wireless N router. Wireless G is supposedly is 56 Mbps but in reality you won't get more than 20 Mbps if your lucky

just got the same one a few days ago. Added the n bridge to hook up to my blue ray player and stream netflix. works like a champ

on a side note DON'T get the dlink dir-615? piece of crap. routinely drops wifi connections and just blows in general. thinking of overwriting the firmware and using it as an additional bridge and see how it works

Ok i tried installing the damn router i bought, but indeed it seems my 6months old laptop isnt able to use the N protocol and i have to get some wireless thingie for my laptop to get it to work. Awesome.
