      I wonder if its Amex. I had someone placing temp hold on my Platinum card for 80 cents. Googled the name and bunch of people complained about same vendor being used as testing site for valid CCs.

          I think amex got hacked years ago and never admitted it. I had a brand new card (new number) still in the envelope unopened and they called me asking if a bunch of charges were me, they removed them and didn't even show on the paper bill (but did online as reversed). Not sure how that could have happened unless it was on their end.

                  It's not amex. There isn't anywhere near that many amex users in the history of the company. It would have to be somethign like facebook, whatsapp, etc.

                              I just had my new Amex pay $1 to the polish lacrosse team. I got a new one but the card was only a few months old. I had cancelled my old account as it was always getting bad charges on old numbers and Amex wouldn’t shut off the old numbers.
