Anybody remember me posting photos of this girl Darien over a year ago? Anyway we flew this girl in and rented a nice house to shoot her in last May. It was like the worst shooting day of my photog John's life, he called me begging me to give him the ok to throw the girl intro the street she was being such a brat, she refused to sign the model release. After giving into her demands that finally got done. The whole thing was a waste of a lot of money, the only thing we got out of it was 7 photosets. Met-Art bought them - all I wanted to see was whether she'd make Met-Art's most popular model list. Usually it takes Met only a week or two after receiving content to publish a new girl. So I waited - day after day, week after week - no sign of Darien on Met. It turned into month after month, I couldn't figure out why they wouldn't publish her. Maybe they didn't like the sets, maybe they didn't like the girl. That made no sense to me but whatever - I resigned myself to them just shelving Darien, I've heard from some other Met photographers that it happens. I kept looking occassionally - finally a few weeks ago a member of DawsonMiller emailed me asking about Darien, with a link to a blog with her photos on it, she had been added to their hosted promo gallery system.
Finally yesterday a year late Darien debuted on Met-Art. And I was right - she wasn't a dud, she made Met's most popular model list
