          I read a book about Van Halen and their first tour.... it was insane, and boy did they get screwed over by the record companies. They made the big time and came back from their first world tour and found themselves in debt.

              Those leotards were firmly up there. Higher and higher. Loved that Lee Roth and Hagar recorded together to. Was a huge fan though never saw Hagar live but saw David solo with Steve Vai and then Gary with band years later.

                              Same thing happened to Tom Petty. Unknowingly signed his song rights away and went broke touring. Managed to get his song rights back when he went bankrupt and screwed them right back.

                                  Shit I'd give anything to experience that time again. Partying Spring Break 1989 at Daytona beach. Girls (hot girls) everywhere and everyone just having an insane time.
