Don't know if this is something new or an experiment or what... but today I noticed on F4F and a VS co-brand that when you enter a username to enter into free chat with a model... instead of going directly to her chat room as I've experienced in the past... you're now directed to a signup page where CC info is collected. It seems that the "free chat without registration" approach might be gone. Is this a new direction for VS sites that I missed up until today? Is this a good idea?

You sure you didn't watch the 24 hour limit of free chat? I just tested it logged out from my account and still got free access to cam/chat. -
It seems unlikely that I used the 24-hour limit as you suggest. But, since you're still getting the free access that might be it.Comment

No sign of the "...expired" message, Alias. It's not a big deal. If you and other people can still access free chat, it must be me. I rarely surf the site in those terms and that's why it seems strange that I would have exhausted 24-hours of free chat. I don't know how they track it, because my IP address has even recently changed... which makes the 24-hour thing harder to figure. But, even if I change usernames, I still go to a signup page. It isn't 24 hours used, its a set amount of minutes PER 24 hours. Anyway, no problem.Comment
