You can't have both. A program cannot make money from $50 and $100 payouts on $19.95 to $29.95 joins, while not doing cross sales or other shady shit. In this economy and rediculous free porn environment, coupled with less and less new credit cards issued, retention is not nearly as easy as it used to be.

I can imagine high PPS becoming a thing of the past soon, except for short promotions. I think the 50/50 rev share will be as good as it gets soon, which is still a way better affiliate split than any mainstream product or service will offer you.

Trials are still there. I don't know why you wouldn't choose trial or no-console, but those options are still there too.
