    Why is something as barbaric as bullfighting still allowed to go on ??

    Do people still not see this as animal cruelty, or am i missing something ???

    Story in our newspaper today saying how this bullfighter was in a serious condition in hospital after having this encounter with a bull.



    The newspaper fails to mention, the spears and dagger in the bulls back, the reason why the bull would attack the matador, and that if they weren't torturing the bull in the first place, it would never have happened.

    Personally, i hope the guy does die. And every other bullfighter out there who thinks this is acceptable as a "sport".

                                                  Bull fighting is a disgrace. Tell me how its a sport? The odds are stacked heavily against the bull considering the Matador has spears and a sword. The bull must go through a lot of pain before it actually dies. No animal should have to suffer like that.

Rather than kept in veal crates and never see the sun, unable to move so as not to toughen the meat, force fed for 3 months then killed.

                                                                                                      Bulls... you used to be able to feed them barley that kept their meat from being too tough, but now barleys so expensive.. its veal crates or the bullring.

                                                                                                      And even if the world went veggie tomorrow.. you still need cows for the dairy produce, cows have to get pregnant.. 1/2 of them will be bulls.

Some people like it some people dont, in Spain I dont think it is likely to go away any time soon, it is part ot their culture and tradition. Just as a sidenote, bulls stay on the bullring an average of 20 minutes.
