An ownership group comprised of four former AVN executives has acquired Webmaster Access, InterNEXT Expo, and GFY from AVN Media Network.
Theo Sapoutzis and Panos Kouvatsos, former managing partners of AVN Media Network, have joined forces with outgoing AVN Vice President Roy Salter and Events Director Kat Revenga to purchase Webmaster Access—the longest running adult industry tech conference in Europe—and its sister trade show InterNEXT Expo, the largest affiliate expo in North America, effective immediately.
The group also acquired legendary webmaster forum, GoFuckYourself.com—better known as GFY—from AVN. This deal will bring a fresh perspective to the internationally known gatherings as well as the adult industry’s most trafficked message board.
“We are thrilled to begin ushering in a whole new era for Webmaster Access, a conference that has established a terrific track record for bringing the top executives from around the world together for a mix of business and pleasure,” said Theo Sapoutzis, who served as CEO of AVN Media Network from 2009 until 2015.
“We have some exciting plans in the works to not only uphold the great tradition of both Webmaster Access and InterNEXT Expo, but to create new history as we take these conferences to another level.”
“We believe Webmaster Access, InterNEXT Expo and GFY are incredible brands that have enormous growth potential and we couldn’t be happier about the opportunity to reimagine them as we look toward the next decade and beyond,” Kat Revenga added.
Roy Salter started his career in adult in 2008 as the affiliate manager for Mobile Adult, joining AVN in 2011 and working his way up to the VP role.
“It has been my sincere pleasure to work closely with hundreds of clients on both Webmaster Access and InterNEXT Expo and to help make these conferences global brands,” Salter said. “Theo, Panos, Kat and I see limitless possibilities with these trade shows. We’re confident the best is yet to come.”
Tony Rios, CEO of AVN Media Network, expressed gratitude for the deal as AVN continues to focus on growing its world-class consumer products—AVN Adult Entertainment Expo, Adult Novelty Expo, AVN Awards, GayVN Awards, and AVN Magazine.
“I’m delighted that we reached this agreement because it ensures these trade shows will be in more than capable hands moving forward,” Rios said.

Actually if I remember correctly, when I first started messing about with affiliate stuff, DieselAction (like most other programs at the time) didn't give away any free promo content. If you wanted to use content to promote them, you had to buy it from them.
Man ratios were great in those days. Wonder where this industry went wrong haha
