I don’t know but I think I read here somewhere that it is a card by Wirecard. They give out a large number of prepaid cards in the EU.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dunno. I'm waiting for mine now, but that's all. Asked Ruth about it, ask where these cards are shipped from, but no answer so far. Mine was shipped 4 days ago.

How does one apply for this card? Is it available to Canadians? I visited the "Apply for card" section and didn't see anything.Comment

As far as I know, the Unionpay cards are still on the wait list. I also have one, but it's useless. As for the SEPA cards, you have to have a confirmed EU address in your account to be able to apply for one. The printing is super fast atm..

is EU address the only requirement ? or you need to be EU resident .As for the SEPA cards, you have to have a confirmed EU address in your account to be able to apply for one. The printing is super fast atm..

Both I guess. You have to be a citizen of an EU country, and you have to have a residence card...anyway,
looks like the card status in my account is not as accurate as I thought. I got a mail from paxum yesterday saying that my card is shipped. I also have a tracking number, which says the card is still in the uk.php, html, jquery, javascript, wordpress - contact me at contact at zerovic.comComment

Here's another update on the SEPA card. When I applied for the card, I had to add my new, EU address, along with my EU documents to confirm it. The card was sent out with Royal mail, on Wednesday, 28th of August.
In the last few days I was away on holiday, and didn't really care about the tracking or anything, but thankfully, I checked it's status on Sunday, 8th of September and it was sayng "The parcel could not be delivered as further address information is needed.".
There was a message on the tracking site saying, if I don't correct the address, the package will be shipped back to the sender. The bad thing is, no one ever contacted me about this, never received a mail or a call, they simply stored it in the parcel center and it was waiting it's way back to the UK. Thankfully, I was able to contact a guy from GLS Group and we were able to fix the issue, and he was more then helpful by adding a new, address of a friend of mine who was able to pick it up the next day.
The current situation is, my card has been delivered, and I'm going to pick it up today afternoon. Once it's activated, I will try to use it at a local ATM, and I will get back to you asap.
Conclusion, if your card is printed and shipped, make sure to follow the tracking service every day, because it can save you weeks of waiting!

Yesterday I picked up my new SEPA card. The activation process was instant, the money transfer was instant and I was able to withdraw money and pay with it directly.
The SEPA card works.

I remember a thread where Ruth replied that some SEPA cards from 2018 didn't go through and got canceled completely. Try to contact Ruth to see what's up.

However, I got a mail from Paxum on 2019-08-28 saying my card was shipped.
The package was delivered on 2019-09-10, after contacting GLS-Group.eu, because the shipping address was totally messed up on the original package. After a few mails with a GLS representative I got it corrected and delivered the next day
