    weapons of mass destruction: KOREA

    ok, US folks ... you busted IRAQ for WOMD that never existed ...
    how about bombing KOREA back to stoneage? will ya dare? or
    will ya back up because they REALLY have weapons of mass
    destruction? hmm?
    There aren't enough faces and palms on this planet for an appropriate reaction to religion.

      They could conceivably nuke Seoul and kill millions of people we have a long relationship with, or nuke China and start WWIII between the two biggest kids on the block.

      I personally say either carpet bomb 'em or send in a kill-team to take out Kim Jong Il, but that's just me.

      Iraq shouldn't have been invaded, it should have been Iran=/

              One of the main reasons Iran and N Korea are thumbing their nose at the world vis a vis WMD, is because they know our military is stretched to the breaking point in Iraq and we have no real military option to use against them.

              This is just one of the many reasons going to war in Iraq was a colossal mistake.

                      thats not true at all. they've always done the same... before clinton was president they began their nuclear program... and they lied and denied it every step of the way, kicked IAEA inspectors out, threatened war if sanctions were imposed etc etc etc.

Iran has also been the same and been up to the same since the ayatollah took power. their central mosque has had a sign for decades that says "death to america" - its not anything new for them to be defiant.

                                                          the interesting thing about your remarks is that these are global security issues. not US issues. Iran has also been defying the IAEA for many years and lied about their programs... which they continue to do.

                                                          the world thinks they can win by playing nice and by playing defense with people are clearly playing offense and that's not true in anything.

                                                              Golly gee.... How many US servicemen and women do we have in Afghanistan and how many servicemen and women do we have in, oh, let's say, South Korea?

                                                              For the past fifty years we've kept close to fifty thousand US troops in South Korea. We don't need to free up any troops to fuck up North Korea - We can just take a long walk across the DMZ.

                                                              I can see it now - "There are no American tanks in Pyongyang". Fucking idiots. They can't even feed their own citizens.

                                                              Nah. Let's talk to them for another fifty years while we keep our troops on the DMZ.
