I'm becoming more superstitious as I get older.

Saw a black cat the other day, it registered in my mind, and sure enough I fucked up the thing I was on my way to do. I think it has something to do with your environment having greater agency on you as you get older, with the superstitions being points at which you become consciously aware of it.
