Cycling.
I love getting a bike and just forgetting about the rest of the world for a few hours. It's helped me lose about forty or fifty pounds - I was freaking huge. I try to bike every day, or at least three our four times a week.
I am also into bikes and I have to limit myself to just two bikes. My favorite is a 2002 Cannondale CAAD Stars and and Stripes. Shortly after 9/11 the firehouse that was closest to the World Trade Centers had a number of firemen do a charity ride from NYC to LA. The Cannondale bike company made some custom bikes for them. The public wanted them too, so they made a few hundred of these bikes and they are highly sought after by Cannondale riders.
I bought this bike in horrible condition for my birthday in early September, and rode it the first time on 9/11. I rode it "as is" for a few years, and then gutted it and refurbished it to brand new. The only thing that isn't new is the frame and the steering wheel. It's like a brand new bike, but really a old bike with a lot of history.
