    AM I Bad for wanting to beat my daughters boyfriend up ??

    I came very close to beating my daughters boyfriend up last night but he ran off. I am not a violent person but when he puts his hands around my daughters neck and threatens to strangle her I did become very pissed.
    My misses was yelling at me to leave him alone when I kicked off.

    Now Im in her bad books for chasing my daughters boyfriend away, and my daughter is not very happy with me either..but what else am I supposed to do. Im kinda scared now that he has done it once he will do it again. The guy is 21 years old and I know that they do have arguments from time to time but this went way to far.

    Was I wrong for chasing him away ???
    In my mind any father would have done the same thing but my misses thinks I should have called the police

Putting your hands round a womans neck isnt messing around. No man should EVER lay a finger on a woman no matter the situation. I had a situation one time when 3 women were beating on some girl I knew, I had to hold them back and protect the girl I knew while the women kept hitting out at me coz I was trying to stop it. I didnt lay one finger on them, I took the hits till more people came to help out. It lasted over 2 minutes with them trying to get to her and slapping me and kicking me. I never even thought about hitting them, just protected my face and balls lol.

                                                                                                      You need to have a strong talk with your daugher, find out if this has happened before and if it has he deserves a good ass kicking out of sight of any witnesses.

Hands around your daughter's throat indicates anger management issues and is just the start of further potential abuse.

                                                                                                                                  I don't put up with anyone who lays a hand on a woman - no matter the circumstances. No excuses or second chances.

                                                                                                                                  Fortunately in my situation, my daughters BF didn't physically abuse her...but smacked a wall with his fist next to her head. That was enough for me. I told him if he layed a single hand on her in the future - he'd be hospitalized and taking his meals intravenously.

                                                                                                                                  Spare the consequences. Family is family and should be protected at all cost.

I just rushed over to protect the girl I knew. After 2 minutes some more people rushed over and seperated everyone and a few minutes after that the Police arrived.

                                                                                                                                                      I dont know what I would have done had they produced a knife. I would maybe have grabbed her arm and tried to stop her using it but I'm happy to say I didnt need think about that.
