Is there an anonymous alternative to paypal?

I'm just looking for something that won't tell the person sending money a lot of details. It would be nice to just be able to use a simple screen name to accept payments.
officially retired as of March 01 2018 but still fucking around and getting into shit.

            Bitcoin.

I just had to set up with the CashApp and that requires a bank debit card. So not the least bit "anonymous", even though someone above suggested it.

            Spend you some brain.

Monero (XMR) is a completely private crypto.
Or use Bitcoin with Wasabi Wallet privacy features

Why don't you want to tell your customer who they are paying?

OK forgive my ignorance and possible stupid questions.

Let's say I'm selling "WiDGetS" using a stage name on social media.

Some punter wants what I'm selling...
So where do I send him to pay me or how do I bill him?

You would give a newly generated BTC address, something that looks like this: 1Ross5Np5doy4ajF9iGXzgKaC2Q3Pwwxv
and have the person send you the amount BTC needed to buy your product. (use Preev or XE for usd/euro/btc conversions)

                      Simple as that.

                      - Current fee to send 1 Bitcoin ($11,800 usd) is about $0.32 cents, on normal miner fees.
                      - Estimated time to confirm/receive transaction is 50minutes.
