    lol, nobody cared that he is gay. If that was a problem then how he did he get to be number two? If Americans hated gays he would have been voted off way in the beginning. It's not like it was a big secret.

    It's just the type of show American Idol. If you watch it, they do group numbers that are SO FUCKING CORNY. It's a total family show and of course a family type guy is going to win over a glam alt guy. Has nothing to do with him being gay.

    But despite all the hype, I bet Adam is going to end up like Clay Aiken, famous but sort of a joke.

        Don't know much about Clay Aiken, but, according to Forbes, he made $2.2 million last year.

            I don't think he should have been on the show at all since he is 27 and has been a singing & acting professional for many years. I'll bet American Idol went to him and not the other way around.

            As near as I can tell, the teeny bopper girls have been writing mountains of slash fic about Adam Lambert and Kris Allen getting it on. Definitely not grossed out. Everyone knows that guys often dig the idea of two chicks together, but seem surprised that that goes both ways.

                I had never seen a minute of AI ever. I saw some clips of him on the Net, and decided that I had to watch. So I saw the last competition?...with him and the vanilla whitebread guy, and the results show.

                Seeing him with Queen was outstanding. As for the show itself, it's not anything I'd watch again. I like a competition to actually be fair, and there is no way that the AI format is that. Nothing that allows for multiple votes should be allowed.

                Thanks The guy has mad star quality. I totally agree that AI should be one vote per phone number.

                        And Kris got all of Danny Gokey's votes, the guy next door thing, so he won. Not all of middle america likes the flashy gay performers. Kris = Arkansas, Adam = So Cal.
