Do you use KaZaA ?

Right now i'm downloading all of the ALF episodes

I always thought IRC was the best place to find shit, but damn..i never saw ALF episodes on irc.

You guys remember ALF? That pimp alien that ate cats

So who here uses kazaa..& whats your fav thing to download?

probably not the best place to get them but oh well, I nver really liked irc.

alf he's awesome.
I use kazaa for mp3's,movies and music vids
Sometimes I go nuts and download theme songs (smurfs,happy days etc..) The only thing I hate about kazaa is those damn pop ups

i use kazza to download games, movies, programs and utilities, but the only problem with it is that some people mess with file names so that when you think you downloading say cute ftp you are actually getting a game. some descriptions say onething and the file name is a totally different thing , but other than that it is a wicked program

Yea i've noticed alot of mis-named files...it blows. But other than that it's tight.

I use kazaa lite for stuff, its great to be able to download someting from more than one person, I often get downloads speeds exceeding 250k/s

I prefer edonkey myself....however as far as the kazaa network goes...be sure you use kazaalite ....it's a hacked version of the software without all the damned spyware.

Kazza is good for movies, if your looking for music though, get SoulSeek, it's not well known, but it's an awsome program, and there's lot of people using it already.

For some reason my downloads never go faster than 1KB/sec in Kazaa Lite. I have no clue why but it pisses me off.

I used to think that Kazaa kicks ass, untill I tried Direct Connect. It's 10x better than Kazaa, it has mirc quality stuff, with Kazaa ease of use... if you are going to try it make sure you use a program called DC++ -> use google to find it...

yea maybe but my problem was that those bastard leechers took 100% of my bandwith while I was queued for ALL my downloads... so it sucked.
I couldnt even surf properly anymore because of those leechers lol.

kazaa2.0 got some kind of ratio system which kinda reminds me of the old fserves on IRC. they basically invented the wheel once again

I love ALF. I use Kazaa Lite, the one that doesn't install all that crap on your system. If you have kazaa installed, then uninstall it, download ad-aware, and run it, and remove all the crap from your system, then get kazaa lite, and then install it. There's a dummy .dll file that it installs that you will have to tell ad-aware to ignore (since it thinks it's the real deal, and it's not), and then you can run it without all that crap.

If you have normal Kazaa, you have installed a bunch of software that runs in the background regardless if Kazaa is running or not, regardless if you have asked to uninstall Kazaz or not. It stays there, hidden. You cannot uninstall it.

I love that programme and can't wait about a year before it comes over here!!!

I could just watch it on digital tv but i am never in as i play football regularly so kazaa helps me out
