    I use it and it seems to do it's job.
    Not sure about if it's 'worth it' though
    It blocks ads fine. I can use extensions fine. I don't use BAT. I did have issues with it blocking my own sites. I have had issues with it crashing sites

    Stats: According to Brave - 66,000 trackers blocked, 256,000 ads blocked, 14,000 HTTPS upgrades and 4.3 hours saved.

      Brave is GREAT. Imagine using an awesome browser with almost all the same features as Chrome, but not sharing or exposing your data to Google.

        Except it does expose your data to Google because everyone logs into Google to check their gmail, GMB, Analytics, etc.
        You honestly can't browse the web today without Google.

        I tried to use DuckDuckGo the other day over Tor. The results were not great so I tried Google over Tor.

        I couldn't get past the CAPTCHA and ended up giving up and retuning to the Google we know and love that shares our data.

        /sigh.

          Had no problems with the captcha - at least it's photographic and not those unreadable text abortions.

            @Smackdat
            You can use paid stats (no analytics), or other mail (no gmail), no chrome (brave, firefox), with tor and/or VPN etc

            There are ways around using Google, but you're right, using Google makes things so much easier. Realistically pretty impossible, sadly.
