I think no matter the Democrat ends up being it will be a close race and either of them can win.

Of course, we are still nearly 1.5 years from the election and a lot can happen between now and then.
This -- spot on as far as I can see. Biden is a weaker candidate than people know. I can't believe the democrats would put aside a candidate who could deliver the young vote and the black vote, which are necessary to win, in favor of a candidate with zero charisma. Biden is technically a centrist, so I guess I should be happy with him, but he isn't really where the party is.
