You could wait forever and not show any symptoms at all. Chlamydia and gonorrhea may not show any symptoms if you are infected.
As for herpes, it will take a couple of days before you find out.
If you want to know if you have the HIV crawling inside you right now, you will have to wait 3 months.. Antibodies should appear within that period and the test will report them..
There are other std's like hepatitis. You could be also really fucked if you have it.
