It's disappointing that I have to explain this to you.
Yes, they sent information to the Russians using an encrypted app and then tried to delete the traces from it off of their computers. However, as most of us know, when you delete something from a computer, it doesn't really delete it from the computer.
Then.... Paul Manafort and Rick Gates confessed to sending to this information to the Russians. Paul Manafort lied about meeting with his Russian buddy, and when caught in a lie he confessed to passing the information. When the FBI confronted Rick Gates with this information, he confessed.
You know all about this. You said it was "polling data available to the general public". If this was polling data available to the general public, why would they need to send it to the Russians at all? Why would they need to send it using an encrypted app? And why would they need to try to cover their tracks by deleting information off of their computers?
This is direct collusion, proof of them working with the Russians, the tried to hide it, they tried to cover it up, and then when originally confronted with the truth they confessed.
This ONE EXAMPLE of direct collusion.
