Multiple victims in shooting at STEM School Highlands Ranch

HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. — Authorities believe at least two people were injured in a shooting at STEM School Highlands Ranch on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.

A ranking law enforcement source told Denver7 that at least one victim was shot and that one suspect was down. Authorities were looking for two other suspects, the source said.

The sheriff's office tweeted that the incident was an "unstable situation" at the STEM school, which is located off South Ridgeline Road and Plaza Drive.

Fucking A I used to work right around the corner from there in Highlands Ranch..

I worked on S. Ridgeland Blvd and there was a STEM school 2 or 3 buildings down from us.. The article says the shooting was on South Park Rd which is a normal elementary school.

I wonder if they have their streets mixed up because the school on Ridgeland was a all grades school. They used to make all the kids run around the block everyday for exercise before the classes started each day.

That's ridgeline blvd and I think that's the building they are showing in the picture.. You can see the STEM school is right above it. I worked in the building right up the street that looks like a E. Right across from the building with those big Red Circles.. (the building with the Red Circles is one of VISA's record keeping buildings huge security there)

This is a very Affluent area lots of rich kids..

The Columbine high school shooting was only a few miles from there.

That's the same view as the picture in the article..

Our warehouse, lab and field offices were at the 8900 building on Ridgeline and our Corporate offices were at the other end of the road at that building with the big circle drive way in it.

They used to have all the kids walk up Barron and back down ridgeline everyday before their classes.. Used to see those kids everyday hope none of them got hurt...

They have a live feed one CBS and said it is the school on Ridgeline, saying it was 2 shooters but so far no words of anyone killed but 8 injured..

Odd fact... back when I was road tripping in CO which is the 1st year I worked there on Ridgeline I changed my brakes on my VW van in the parking of that school.. Had no idea it was even a school at that time because it was during their summer break so the place looked like a empty building.
