    Need Another Server. Step Inside.

Who has the deals going on?

I am at capacity with my server at PHAT. So it is time to either upgrade, get a new one, whatever. At times like this when I have to make a change, major upgrade, whatever... I also will consider other offers.

I do not jump ship, nor nickel and dime on my hosting moving it every year because of the flavor of the month. However at times when you have to make some major decisions. I will look around and see who else is on the radar. So many things can change in a few years.

My first thought is to go with a second server at TOEJO. Already put in a call to Brad.

I would get a faster server, more hard drive slots, and have room to grow. I would also move some of my bigger bandwidth sites over there (or to new host). What is most important to me is support. PHAT has always answered trouble tickets within the hour, unless overwhelmed with some issue.

Secondly, I am a sales man. Not a techie. So I am not going to be doing installations, and other bullshit on my server. If I need a script installed, I send it to you (like I always have PHAT) and I expect you to install it. Same for upgrades.

I have no major issues with PHAT, other than situation recently with Joe Job, so I may just decide to get a second server there. I have not decided. I do have to make a decision in 24 hours.

    So..... fire away ladies.

The RAID storage on this server utilizes 2 drives, so we've got that covered. RAID1 Mirror

Don't mean to hijack thread, perhaps OP will find question I am asking useful too - zagi, what kind of pricing do you have on NL based servers. Similar specs to what you have posted above, just located in NL rather than US.

Based on my experience dealing with different hosts every day, no one else can touch
Phatservers for support. As you know, phatservers often answers tickets within just
a few minutes and the answer is normally "ok, that's done", rather than the often stupid
replies we get from other companies. Their bandwidth prices are pretty decent too.

Other hosts may have other advantages. Some may have a little lower price because
they don't have to pay for the expert tech support - you just get someone being paid $8 / hour
to read from a prepared script. Someone else may have slightly better security, at the
expense of making their servers very inconvenient to actually use. But if tech support is
what you value most, once you've been with phatservers I don't think anyone else will
make you happy now that phat has spoiled you.
