    Mastermind Group for Adult Webmasters

    Hi guys,

I'm normally surrounded by business people, both in my daily work and by being part of other business groups. However, lately I've felt the need discuss and test some ideas about my adult business and I've realized how narrow and specific our industry is, where most of the marketing and sales ideas need to have a twist, because they simply don't work out of the box the way they do in other industries.

This is where the idea of creating a mastermind group came from.

I would like to invite you to join me, exchange ideas and make quality business connections within a private group of industry professionals. In order for us to work effectively and be able to actually get to know each other, I would limit the number of members to a maximum of 15 at a time. Also, this is not a place to pitch your business, although business opportunities may naturally arise out of it.

To break the ice and start shaping this group, I invite you to answer the following 3 questions:

    1. What do you do? (What's your role in the industry?)
    2. What is your current goal?
    3. What do you hope to get out of this membership? (Short and long term)

    Thanks!

    1. Affiliate - Runs Tubes / Blog through a primary niche. On my way to clinching that niche (authority in google) and strive to be where people choose to go to enjoy that niche.

    2. Just achieved my goal of quitting my 100k /yr (CAD) job. Next goal is to triple my income by optimizing current projects before moving onto the next one.

    3. I want a group of people to offer support, ideas for one another as they are needed. Would be nice to have a group of people who know a little bit about everything, but have each person be strong in what they do personally.

I would like to add, it would be nice to have some sort of proof of what they claim to be. So if you claim to have capital, claim to have traffic, claim to run a certain site - would be nice to offer at least a little supporting evidence to show it as such.

Really good idea. How about you post yours too!

If I can talk to others about the industry or even just business in general, I might be more inclined to put in more hours. I do have my set routine, but it might be fun to get excited another way about all of this.

Let me know what you think about what I wrote .

      1. Affiliate (specialized in converting.. specifically, building campaigns around pitch points and continuity of pitch, rather than traffic streams).

      2. Volume.

      3. Relationships

To expand on number two.. Over the years I have seen just about every campaign and creative that ever existed.. Companies spending/wasting huge money.. and I have yet to witness a single campaign/pitch that has been properly optimized.

The only program I've ever seen with any type of sensibility in this regard, is crak revenue (and they built an entire business on bridging that one simple gap).

I've never understood why more programs don't pay attention to this.. and I've never understood why programs don't focus more on user retention in the members area.

Two areas where programs are leaving HUGE margins on the table.
      10 years of experience in:

CHAT SALES - PAID TRAFFIC - CONVERSION - CREATIVES - CONSULTATION

            1) Develop, finance, produce and sell my own content.
            2) Keep growing.
            3) Do not know, but guessing would be to gain some web knowledge which I am sadly lacking.

You gave me an idea to strat a group ONLY for content makers who sell from their own site.

                      Hey guys,

I'm keen for any serious business discussions. A couple of years ago I was put in touch with a webmaster who ran a very successful site and it was awesome being able to talk business with him in person over a beer, 4WD'ing or snowmobiling.

                      1. I run a handful of gay sites with a bit of a 'speedo' fetish theme. Paysites, blogs, tube site.

                      2. Right now working on monetizing a blog and the tube (doubt the tube will work but it getting more traffic so want it all setup nicely). Then working on a new niche so will setup a blog, all the social media stuff and then a paysite.

                      3. Talk to people about real business. If I'm going to spend hours working on something that someone else has tried and it didn't work that is great to know.

                      Hope something like this works.

                      Dave

Great to see you, guys, are interested in this.

@incredibleworkethic: First of all, congrats on your recent achievement! Regarding discussions, I suggest we use a Slack group in the next phase, so people are more inclined to share their ideas freely. I will also share my answers to the 3 questions:

                          1. I am the owner of a traffic exchange called TRAFFDAQ and I am managing the technical side of an affiliate platform.

                          2. Current goal is to increase the value we provide to our customers. However vague that might seem, there are specific success criteria and also a specific monetary amount, which I'm happy to disclose in the actual group.

                          3. I wish to develop high quality relationships (business and friendships) with like-minded people who can provide a fresh perspective on what I do.

So to "break the ice" you want everyone to give information about themselves by answering 3 questions you asked in your OP... that you yourself didn't answer in your OP.

So you are a one way street to gather intel on us, demanding of us, without you giving to us.

How stupid do you think we are?

A limited "master mind" group where we give you all our knowledge & creative ideas and you're the receiving, non giving, recipient of what we have to offer.... for free 👁️👁️

Slack's great for many reasons. The flow of joining a new workspace is not one of those reasons. It's an absolute disaster (especially if you're trying to join with an existing slack account), how that ever got greenlighted and continues to function the way it does now is beyond me.

On another note, great initiative, OP!
