Just got a chargeback

This person was a member of my site in 6/02 and they just chargebacked their membership this morning. I know there's been several threads but this just doesn't seem fair

$9.95 for 00004 followed by 24.95 every 30 days
Next Billing: 2002-06-26 Cancel Date: 2002-06-23 Stat: R [ Retries 100]

Of course, this isn't the first and it's not gonna be the last but it's just not fair. That's my point. I can understand if I mislead the surfer but my sites deliver what's promised and many other sites also do. While reading a previous thread, someone said they started a chargeback this and I think it's a great idea. I may make a page and post a list of their e-mail address, I'll call it... "Deadbeat, Chargeback list"

Hopefully chargebacks will be a thing of the past when Mastercard introduces its "Wallet" system and VISA launches its "3D" product. Mastercard EU is already running tests with their Wallet system from what I heard and it should become standard in a year.

alot of the chargebacks are because of stolen cc's...but the banks should make it standard to cancel the card if the owner does a chargeback...

i just got one today too... as i've seen before, it was a female name on the account, and it ends up a chargeback... sad to say, but stronger scrubbing based on gender might not be such a bad idea in the current fearful climes when it comes to chargebacks..

...promise her a defamation, tell her where the rain will fall..
