Justin its a 1990 was first reg in the UK in 2005 as it is an import

pixovore It picks up speed so quick you dont realize you are doing 90mph. I allready said to my son and daughter that this is gonna cost me my licence if Im not carefull

I'm a big MkII MR2 fan, and those share the same 3S-GTE 2.0 turbo motor that makes 200/200 stock. Although the Celica uses a top mount intercooler instead of a side mount.

Thanks you are right about the intercooler being on the top I wondered wtf it was when I first looked at the engine. Then My misses brother told me..lol

I had my misses brother look at it and he took it out for a drive and looked over the engine for me as he has been in the motor trade biz all of his life He buys and sells cars.

That looks a lot like the 87 GTS I had. I LOVED that car. Unfortunately, so did 2 teenage runaways and it was stolen in 89

Mine was a 5 speed manual trans and my Dad had an automatic Porsche (I know, but he says he refuses to "work" when driving). I raced him and beat him from a dead stop in that Celica!

Not sure if it gets cold enough where you are but one thing I learned - if it's going to snow/sleet/freeze, be sure and leave the lights up. At least with mine, you could lift the light covers and turn off the lights themselves. But if there's ice on the car, they won't open or turn on.
