Not here it Texas.. Its legal and thats how my buddy hunts. He took me once with him.. Made me sick. Funny thing, we had one girl whith us who was born and raised in S. Africa. She thought we were going on safari hunt or something. She was so pissed when she found out how its done here.

Gun, bow, crossbow, spear, sling, who cares - well actually a few are more apt to just harm an animal than straight kill it quickly.
Deer also need killing, simple as that. Do not believe me, go look it up on just about any non radical environmental or forestry site. Unlike say many farmers and such in Texas and a few places that are having to kill feral pigs and are not able to use the meat due to lack of demand.
Hunting is hunting, it does provide a thrill to many. I have killed many animals and I rarely get a thrill out of it though. Mostly it was very early on in my youth. Main point is to get yourself meat for you and your family. Although I have issues hunting now, I still have people who do hunt for me. We also get our limit of yearly things like salmon and such too.
Perhaps I am just closer to my food than some others. I have laid eyes on most every piece of beef, pork, and chicken in my freezer in its live form at some time.Comment
