See this is why I take media reports with a grain of salt. Did anyone watch CNN this morning as events unfolded. These 'pro analysts' were saying things like "this is the sniper probably turning himself in because it's too much for him to continue at this pace" and "this is great police work for them to be thinking ahead and capture this van" as well as other stupid theories.

Is it just me, or does anyone else not buy the white van theory? Let's see it changed from a white box truck, to a white Astrovan and today they picked up a white Plymouth Voyager or something. And CNN now says it was two Mexican workers that they captured. Tax dollars at work!

The two "suspects" they arrested were at the wrong place at the wrong time. They were in a white Van parked beside a payphone, that's all! The police are so completely lost on this case they're getting desperate. Last week there was talk they were going to hypnotise wittiness?s to see if any more info could be extracted from them

Terrible police work. I noticed when they were showing closeups of the van their was a mexican flag sticker on the window. They should know that mexicans aren't smart enough to operate a firearm.

Yesterday on MSNBC their was a retired New York City cop and his theory was that the sniper sets up for his shot and waits for a white van to drive by then takes his shot. When everyone realizes that someone was shot they look around and they see a white van. That could explain why they have so many different white van descriptions.

On local news here last week, they had former military "snipers" and thats exactly what they said. The "person(s)" wait for a white van before they carry out the attack. Therefore causing a diversion and leading the police in the wrong way/direction.

They found this "note" yesterday, after searching for 12-18 hours for clues.... Hmm... are they fucking blind, or did they just overlook it the first time?

As for the "person(s)" calling the hotline, its probably just some idiot screwing around. You have got to know that there using every possible tracking method available to trace/track the call... Why, if you were the sniper, would you call them?
