The same thing which is called corruption in Russia has yet another name in the USA: A POLITICAL LOBBY. That's a legal way to sell and buy the so-called democracy for $$$. The problem is the West have been bribed by cheap goods and services. If they can be made cheaper in the 3rd World they are and if you can import enough low wage immigrants to supply a growing low wage economy the politicians will fall into line.

When anyone suggests making goods in the West that are now totally made in the 3rd World, people scream about the costs. Corporations and the elite are responsible for offering the cheap goods, we are equally guilty of accepting them.
