btw I must say that Church has an amazing amount of detail in places that most people would never see. I guess it's easy to say after seeing this.. Ah.. gunkinjima. You know, when we went to Japan, we went to nagasaki, planning to do it.
Problem is about that place, it's really hard to get to. It's a couple of miles off the coast, so you need to pay someone to boat you out there and to drop you off.
Added to that, you can only land on one part, at a specific time of the day, when the tide is right. The cops patrol the waters there, and the last guy who got caught (italian guy) was deported + BANNED FOR LIFE DarkJedi style from Japan.
Also, you have to trust that the motherfucker you paid will return the next day to pick you up ;)
At the time, we didn't have the time to arrange all of that, so it slipped by us.
It'll happen sometime I guess. Hope it lives up to the anticipation ;)Comment

it is quite an amazing adventure, not only do you successfully climb these massive constructions but at the same time you pull off some amazing photographs depicting views which you could only get from sitting on that roof (unless you were in a helicopter).
the detail of the photographs are astonishing, i am sure you could sell to a post card print shop and share these beauty of arts with the masses.

I said that yes, I did a bit of urban exploration too.
The guy said: yeah, but there's this dude I've seen post on GFY, he posted some crazy shit like a missile base.

Him: Yeah, something like that, but man, it was like underground.
I said: Yeah, I think I know the one.
