We aren't scrambling but we take this 100% serious and know that he is in our servers, I have forwarded this to Shap I am sure he is not reading this right this second as he is probably with his wife and new almost 1 year old son. I think that this could have been announced after his sons birthday in a few days as a courtesy but I guess we don't have that.

Besides it being defcon i think he is sending me a birthday present as the 31st is my birthday as well. I thank god I host at swiftwill as there is no where i would rather be when this or something bad happens, but no one is safe on any servers these days as you can see on all the facebook exploits etc.I could give two shits wether you read this sig or not.Comment

When it rains it pours. I've been dealing with some serious family stuff and really haven't been thinking or worrying about business. Luckily I have my awesome team to cover for me in times like this.
I don't really have the energy to post much on this right now. Obviously I take this very seriously. I've been on the receiving end and I've witnessed the power some people can have on servers and sites. It's scary. I never doubt anyone when they make a claim like this. We don't have any proof that this is for real. That said I prefer to assume it's real and go through every single thing we own and secure it as best possible rather than laugh it off and dismiss it as nonsense. At the end of the day we have always done and will continue to do everything possible to always keep our servers secure.
Just because this claim was made against us don't think it's limited to us. I know of a number of large size programs that are hacked and their databases compromised. I've had hackers prove it to me by asking me to name a cash program and then giving me back all my personal login info to that cash program. I use different logins for all programs and sometimes different pay info. So they didn't get the info by guessing my info but rather by accessing that program's database. If you think your info is safe with the biggest programs you are mistaken.Comment
