    I'll be going to Amsterdam for the first time

    I'm leaving on Saturday and will be there till Thursday. Then of off to Lisbon for another week.

    Who can tell me about some good bars to go to and good restaurants to hit?

    I'm really interested in the history, art and culture... I'll be going to the Van Gogh museum, Rijksmuseum. What else is not to miss?

    We also got a day planned to see The Jordaan and De Pijp and then check out the Heineken brewery.

    I'm fired now... If anybody wants to meet up for a beer and coffee and talk biz... hit me up

              I can't for the want of trying remember where but,

              There is an excellent malasian restaurant not to far from dam square which was really nice.

Be sure to check out an Indonesian "rice table," a nice presentation of a lot of small and tasty dishes. Also, right by the corner of the Heineken Brewery is my favorite pancake house. It looks like a carousel with the best damn dutch pancakes. Right down the street from that is the open market, definitely worth visiting!
