Don't. TMM are good people. They make good products and are great to everyone they meet. The important thing here is that TMM actually "built something" and "does something". The person they are suing today is someone who never built anything and had no experience whatsoever in adult, but went way out of her way to trash them on MANY boards. I don't think she was even a customer of theirs who had even seen or used any of their products.

Poor TMMCharlie had a hard time around Christmas 2007 when the exploit occured and he certainly didn't need this person making his life worse. He really deserves to win this case against her and I hope he does.

well... as if i recall correctly... John basically knew peoples systems were getting accessed with his own admin passwords, and did nothing about it. it didn't happen once or twice. it happened with a lot of people over a very long time period. i dont remember all the dirty details... but i remember enough to know that only a fucking moron would air this out in court and if her attorney has any brains, he will launch a full frontal attack with the facts, start deposing witnesses etc and it won't be pretty for NATS.

All I am saying, is that I have a good opinion of them. The WarmFuzzy I get from them says they're nice people, that they work hard, and that they believe in their product. You are not necessarily wrong (if I said that I apologize) - all I am saying is that this my opinion of them.

Shit happens all the time. My opinion is, that the Verotel guys, based on the Warmfuzzies, will have their servers back up soon.

Is this the same good people whom didn't bother to tell any of their customers about a security breech, for what a year until someone else made it public? A security breech that allowed their customers personal info to be stolen in for that same year.

My opinion may be of value to some people because (a) I know them, (b) I've met them, and (c) I've worked with them, and (d) I trust them.

If you do not Verotel, or have ever met them etc, then your opinion may not hold the same value.

Crap, I predict half of GFY going to jail

I met Shellee 2 years ago at our Cybernet party at a swinger house in Tampa. The first thing she did was insult my bartending skills and told me that I had shitty tequila. She then had me fill up her jumbo plastic cup 3/4 of the way with my shitty tequila. She also came back later and took an unopened bottle of shitty tequila with her outside.

About half an hour later I was walking around giving everyone Jaeger shots and she was in the yard trying to unsuccessfully to makeout with Dirty D. She was staggering, slurring and barefoot.

The following day I met her at the hotel and she didn't remember me. She was actually pleasant and said she came from Microsoft. During my panel on Marketing, when we opened the floor for questions, she stood up and plugged her service for helping people trademark their company names.

I ran into her again at Internext Miami. This time she remembered me and told me she left her shoes at Dirty D's house. I explained to her that the house the party was at was not his. After that each time I ran into her, she was drunk and kept telling me she wants her shoes back.
She also came on to a bunch my male friends at separate times during the show, offering them to be their sugar momma because she had all this Microsoft stock.

At Webmaster Access LA a few months later, Gonzo introduced us again, and this time I got to spend a little more time with her, her husband, and a friend of hers. We all went to brunch and I thought she was really fun, and pretty witty. I also had an idea that she and her husband can really throw down hard alcohol. She told me she used to consult for Warner Brothers, her husband consults for Microsoft, and they had a lot of money.

She was also nice enough to give me a pass to the Playboy mansion since they were one of the $10k sponsors for Pornafia and even had painted models.


The last time I saw her was at Internext Vegas. This time she remembered me. We chatted only for a minute, she was only drinking white wine and said she was waiting for her (adult) daughter to arrive. She asked if we ever got her shoes back. Lol.

I don't really have an opinion on the lawsuit, other than if my company was being publicly slandered in various places outside of our industry, I would probably take legal recourse.

I do however wonder if part of her actions were the direct result of drunk writing. I don't have any ill feelings for Shellee, but I do think she has a problem with alcohol. I also get the feeling that she's probably very lonely, even though she and her husband got along, I didn't see a real connection, and as they got more drinks in them an invisible rift seemed to form. I am grateful to her for the opportunity to go to the Mansion for the first time, and I hope she weathers this lawsuit and gets help for her alcoholism.

On that generalization i'd say the entire Adult industry has a drinking problem.

When this someone is dying for a drink at 10am, I see a red flag. When someone trying to pass herself off as a legitimate business woman comes to industry events and gets so shitfaced she makes a scene, (so I left out a few details of the Cybernet party) holds up the bus from leaving coming AND going because of nonsensical rantings, and drinks as much she does before noon I'd say yes. When this woman tells me she needs a drink because she can't deal with bullshit, I have to wonder.

I think you're maybe half-correct; her posts were usually copy-pastes of old stories that weren't current which she drew some correlation from. Drunk copy-pasting?

I can't say anything about your comments concerning her potential problems with alcohol, though from your descriptions and my own problems in the past I can certainly sympathize.

But drunk or sober I agree with that feeling you got about her loneliness... and I think this whole i-have-money and i-am-a-microsoftie (her term) thing she has with meeting people points to a general, desperate need for acceptance or self-assurance she doesn't have within herself.

I think you're brave to post such impressionistic opinions about someone, and I wouldn't have without your doing so first, but in this case she just really seems like someone who could use some help on many levels. She has put herself out as such an expert on so many things it's kinda creepy, and her main tactic in any field seems to be to call alarm to the bad things and people out to do you harm and offer her "help" or "expertise" or whatever in defense.

Same here. When I first met her, it was like "Wow. such a well connected person!". In the end she turned out to be quite a disapointment.
