Aren't these both perfectly valid and good ideas? And achievable?

Trump has been talking about some imaginary infrastructure program since he started running, and so far... Nothing.

Imagine if the federal government decided to tear down every building, one or a thousand at a time, and rebuild them to be environmentally friendly? Instead of spending billions on walls that won't change anything, why not have our government start rebuilding our cities to make them environmentally friendly? Imagine the cost savings for the owners of the buildings and homes? Imagine if we could take ten thousand buildings / homes off the power grid every month... Imagine the jobs we would create.

Nah, fuck it, let's just burn coal.

No more airplanes? Utterly fucking brilliant. Imagine having electric high speed trains criss crossing the country? Imagine the jobs we could create building hundreds of thousands of miles of high speed train tracks? Imagine how that would effect our environment? Don't tell me we can't do it - We did it with roads and in the 1940s they said that too was impossible.

We are doing it California: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Califo...igh-Speed_Rail

Stopping cows from farting? We obviously aren't to be doing that. But why not move cows inside where we can capture these gases and put them to better use?

Trump promised us an infrastructure project or program? Why aren't we doing these things? Imagine the massive benefits to small and big businesses around the country if we did. Instead of investing billions into walls that will have zero impact, why not invest billions of tax dollars into our own society where the taxpayers will benefit? And be environmentally friendly in the process? Our tax dollars go to improvements, jobs are created, small and large businesses benefit, and our lives are better.

You live in Vegas.... Imagine a high speed train that can take people from LA to Vegas in an hour? What impact do you think that would have on businesses in Vegas?
