Why do you assume he's a liberal? Simply because he's an actor? He spoke out against the #METOO witch hunts recently and now he's admitting to feeling vengeful against blacks as a young man. Doesn't sound like a typical 'liberal progressive' type to me. Not many liberals have his background either.
