I had a black friend in high school who’d call everyone n**a. He laughed but people got really upset.
It really was funny when a new black guy would walk into class. “Hey nig*a” and the guy would look at every white person and we were all frozen.
Someone at lunch said, “hey dickhead” and he simply said, “you talking to yourself again?” Laugh it off and all is calm. Get offended and the gloves come off
