Schumer didn't shut the govt down, Trump did by failing to sign 2 different budgets Republicans approved in the Senate and then later refusing to be a leader and tell Republicans in the Senate to vote on the 4 different bills the House passed.
What you are saying is Trump cost US tax payers 6 billion dollars & counting for no reason at all. Somehow in this lala land of news pundit TV show reality which you believe in, this makes you feel high and mighty that Trump just pissed away 6 billion dollars for nothing..
All in all at least 4 budgets were passed between the House & Senate, of those 2 made it to Trump's desk in which he refused to sign, the other 2 were never brought before the Senate for a vote because McConnell was scared they might actually pass..
IE Trump/Senate Republicans wasted 6 billion dollars, but as usual your retard world view you claim it was Democrats fault..
