There's something strange about Giuliani. Why on earth would a lawyer keep going on TV to defend his defendant? And why would he keep being allowed to make so many mistakes? Neither Trump nor Giuliani are this stupid.

I think something else is going on. I think Giuliani is purposely muddying the waters. He keeps flipping and flopping and repeating things like "Collusion is not a crime". I think he's doing this so that if Trump is ever found guilty, Trumpers and people that listen to Giuliani won't react in a negative way. I think he's trying to normalize what Trump is suspected of doing so that if he's found guilty, he'll still have lots of support from the redhats.

It's pretty simple really. They ask you a question. Take Trump Jr. as an example. Under oath he was asked "Did the Trump family continue to pursue business deals in Moscow during the election". Trump Jr. told them they did not continue to pursue business deals in Moscow during the election. Now we find out they did in fact they did continue to pursue business deals in Moscow right up to the election. Trump Jr. lied. He was asked a question, and he failed to tell the truth. He lied. He lied under oath. There is no trickery about it.

In fact, they asked a lot of people in the Trump campaign / Trump company this same question, including Ivanka (who also seems to have lied). Now we have emails, texts, documents, and voice recordings saying they lied. Under oath.

There is no trickery about this. It was a simple question. Ivanka was signing off on deals to open up a spa in the hotel; She did this during the campaign. She knows she did. Mueller knows she did; They have documents and communications saying she did.

Why would they lie about this? Why did ALL OF THEM lie about this, when the truth was so easy to figure out?

"We did not make payments to Stormy Daniels".
"Cohen made a payment to Stormy Daniels, but I didn't know about it".
"Cohen made a payment to Stormy Daniels, and there is a recording of making ordering Cohen to make the payment".
"I made a payment to Stormy Daniels but there was nothing illegal with it."

It's the same shit all over again.

"We did not do business with Moscow during the election".
"We might have done business with Moscow during the election, but Trump didn't know about it".
"We did business with Moscow during the election and Cohen has a recording of Trump directing it".
"There is nothing illegal with doing business with Moscow during a political campaign".

The President's attorney went on TV this weekend, made a number of statements on TV that were completely false, then the next day said "I hadn't spoken to Trump about it and was only speaking in hypotheticals". So the attorney for the President went on TV to discuss how the Trump people weren't making deals with Moscow during the campaign, but never discussed it with his client, and was only speaking in "hypotheticals". What kind of fucking attorney does this?
