Not racebaiting or anything like that, though lots of versions on youtube start with him pushing her. According to the news story I saw last night about this, he was breaking up a fight when all this happened. I think we can agree that he should not have pushed the girl, even though she laid hands on him first. BUT, he's surrounded and she charges in with her fists raised - I think an argument can be made that he was defending himself.

ok, he's obviously defending himself but why would a 6 foot 200pound plus guy feel threatened by a short 100 pound girl? He could have killed her with a punch or she could have suffered brain trauma from the concrete.

Is defending yourself against someone with a fraction of your strength worth going to prison over? Bad choice.

I forgot to add that she deserved it. That doesn't mean I would do what he did, because I like staying out of jail.

Girls who try to play badass and attack a grown man twice their size need a punch in the face desperately. They keep doing that because most men know they shouldn't be hitting a woman, but eventually she's going to encounter one who doesn't give a fuck.

Agreed. He should not have shoved and then punched. Once he shoved he escalated.

I also think she deserved it but it is just one of those things. Just because someone deserves it doesn't mean you should give it to them, in this thing. Not all things..lol

If you watch the vid at the very beginning, it seems as if it's just a group of people standing around and he forcibly walks through them and shoves someone out of the way. It was "after" he pushed someone out of the way that the girl pushes him from the back. He then shoves her really fucking hard backwards. She comes back at him and he punches her.

This guy deserves to get fucking locked up..

Watch the vid from the very start.. it's hard to see but he clearly shoved someone at the very start before anyone touched him..

No idea why any of this was happening, but he body language seems as if he was pissed a bunch of people were standing in his way.. Looks like a total asshole..

Yes he started the physical contact and ended it by knocking an 11 year old girl unconscious to the cement.

From what I seen (no audio) he is surrounded by girls that seem to all be having a go at him. Seems legit to me. If I was a judge, he would walk and I would charge the girls with assault.

As usual the village idiots missed the part where he was breaking up a fight. She charged him.. He pushed her off. She charged even harder and he decked her.. More kids these days need some of this. I had an apparent family van load of ignorance behind me at a stop light a few months ago.. Light was green.. I'm waiting on my safe opportunity to make my left-hand turn.. Mom/Driver of the van decides to blast her horn continuously.. I'm in my convertible vette so it was pretty easy to flip her the bird.. Made my turn and she pulls up beside me.. The passenger tries to be cute and sling her drink out at me but the wind catches it and misses. I laugh and flip them off again.. I pull into the store a ways down the road and they follow me in. I pull into my space and hop out to head into the store.. They pull up behind my car and start yelling shit so I tell them to take their fat asses on somewhere because no one wants to hear it.. Side door pops open and some fat ass teenager jumps out running his mouth.. He starts to get up on me acting like he's going to throw a punch and as he does I show him my holstered weapon and told him if he takes another step he's on his way to the hospital.. His mom starts yelling "get back in the van" I walk around the back side of the van and get her plate number and start dialing up the police.. She squeals the fuck out.. Several generations of ignorance needed a lesson of being complete fucking idiots that day. Moral of the story is.. I'm not asking for your ID before I put you down when you come charging at me.

PLEASE WAIT WHILE BIDEN ADMIN UNINSTALLS ITSELF.....

He got out of jail a few hours after arrest "Bell was released from the Buncombe County jail just after 1 a.m. Sunday, records show. " His court date is February 5th.

His lawyer claims he has a traumatic brain injury and PTSD.

So that's his excuse for punching the 11 year old girl and pushing two other 13 year old girls that were present. He has 3 charges against him.

I lived in Buncombe county where this happened for 2 years. I don't have faith the girls will get justice. there's an inkling of possibility that they could get Justice because this is gone national news but that would be the only reason.
