Do some research on the boards. If you see a company has as many bad things as good things said about them, you have a 50% chance of being unhappy ;) and above all else, remember this - if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

I spent 5 years in adult, and have since moved most all of my stuff to mainstream now.
I host at www.rackco.com too . I have hosted with many good hosts from around here ( most of them at some point or another in fact since we had servers scattered everywhere I think we had around 12 - 14 in total at one time)
Dan, Kelly and the guys at Rackco are the best experience I have ever had with a host and they are exceptional when it comes to contact availabilty and they go above and beyond on anything I ask them to install for me or help me with at anytime ( never been down , not even for 5 mins in the last 3 yrs that i been hosting with them)

I don't know much to tell you about virtual hosting as I've tried so many and to be hosnest they all sucked for anything more than a spalsh page or some small shit. For increedible hosting with a mix of a fantastic network, great pricing and the best support you can find I will have to say the team at Techiemedia are in a class above the rest.Comment
