The reason why some people are saying this is because from 1998 to 2006 it was really easy to make money. You could buy a domain name at 9am in the morning, by 10am you could have it up and running with TGP software, plug in your CCBill affiliate ID, and you would have traffic, content, and sales by noon. Rinse and repeat. You could easily have a TGP making $50 - $500 a day. If you have ten of those, well, you aren't going hungry. Submit a gallery to the Hun and bingo, you were raking in bucks.
Those days are long gone.
Our industry has changed. It's no longer about traffic or how many hits someone can send you. It's about information. Get someone's email address and you can sell them all day long. I won't convert like it's 2003, but you will still make money.
I don't mean to push YNOT Mail but... I have people who are emailing and raking in bucks.
