Ex-President's definitely need that kind of protection to keep crazy people out.

It is hypocritical however that he was FOR a wall in the past but now is against it:

Its said that Obama charges up to $400,000 per speech. Just a few bookings is all it takes to make him rich. Add to that Michelle's speaking engagements, their book deals, appearances, etc. They're making money just like every other celebrity in America is making.

Kim Kardashian used to be a stylist, now she's a millionaire because of of her brand. Obama used to be a civil servant, now he is a millionaire because of his brand.
Trump has been making money off his brand for years and will likely continue to do so after his term is up.

First, Obama has in fact had a job outside of government. His wife was also an attorney. In their 2006 tax return her salary was $273,618 from the University of Chicago Hospitals, while her husband had a salary of $157,082 from the United States Senate

Second, while Obama was a Senator him and his wife lived in a condo....

Third... Do you have any idea how much they have made since leaving office? Books and speeches?

He did get a big spike in book sales once he was elected potus so he made $10 million between book sales and office pay while he was in the WH.

He made 3.2 million pay as potus another 600 or 700k in the Senate..
