Great pics! But I couldn't help but notice how the eyes of the women who are doing this in public are lit up in excitement. And this got me thinking.
Not all women like attention. But some bask in it. Its something they've probably gotten a lot of it of in their lives. And probably for good reason. Their beauty and fitness is probably above average. So, attention is something they've found addictive.
That being the case, she doesn't need to go braless in public to render every other female in her presence invisible. She doesn't need to go braless to conquer and destroy every man who sees her. That would be a "nuclear option" reserved in her arsenal for the few times in her life when an even hotter woman renders her invisible. Yet, instead of conceding defeat, she decides she still needs to feed her attention addiction.
Other women become angry and catty to a woman who breaches etiquette by using her nuclear option against those who are already in complete surrender to her. And against other women who've already been rendered completely invisible by her.

In all seriousness, there is a small movement by some women to eliminate the use of bras. They see them as another sexist, repressive legacy that keeps women conforming to old standards which were probably established at one point by men. (Which is odd, because obviously most of us would also prefer that they not wear them.)
And, outside of the United States, toplessness is much less of a big deal. Nudity in general is much less "taboo," even in other American countries, such as those in South America. I still remember the double-take I did on my first trip to Colombia when I saw a woman standing on the sidewalk with a long coat open enough to clearly reveal her boobs. She was not only braless, but shirtless, too.
Unfortunately, I still live in the USA, and I don't really have any idea how to support the local braless movement to any degree where it would make a difference. But, I am 100% behind it.
